AT HOME EUTHANASIA
Please note that this is a referral service. If you are not our registered client you will need to contact your own veterinary practice for referral arrangements if at home euthanasia is something you would prefer.
On many occasions they would be able to provide the service themselves or guide you and you and your pet needs and arrange this with us on your behalf.
If your vet is unable to provide house visit they should contact us and inform of your decision to have the last service performed at your home.
Details and the pet history should be passed over. This is to comply with the new 'under care' guidelines for our governing body RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons).
THE ARRANGEMENTS
To organise a home visit appointment, simply click on the ‘Request an Appointment’ button in the site menu, provide a few details about you, your pet and your preferred visit timing. Our team will liaise with our vets and contact you to booking in an available time. If your proposed times are unavailable, we will let you know the closest times we can offer so you can make the decision that feels right for your family.
If you prefer a more personal approach, you are always welcome to call us on 07624492844 and leave a voicemail message. We would call you back when available and guide you through the process, answer questions, and help you arrange an appointment over the phone.
AT HOME EUTHANASIA - PROCESS
Our vet will come to your home to provide a peaceful euthanasia for your pet.
We offer gentle sedation at no extra charge, and we strongly recommend it to ensure your pet’s final moments are calm, comfortable, and free of distress.
Final injection is given as an intravenous injection in most canine patients. In cats a full general anaesthesia is on board prior final injection, which allows peaceful slipping to sleep. Final injection is most commonly performed as either intracardiac or intrarenal injection.
AT HOME EUTHANASIA - AFTER CARE

We have a variety of aftercare options available. Individual cremation for your pet with the return of their ashes can be organised at additional cost with a wide range of options to choose from. Prices vary depending on what you choose and your pet’s weight.
If you would like to bury your pet at home or make your own cremation arrangements, we will leave them in your care.
Finally, companion cremation (without the return of ashes) is also available if this is your preference.
